Clarity and Boundaries

Posted on 25th February 2010 by Cynthia Warwick Seiler in Posts

Clarity of mind, thought, self is one of the most sought after wishes I hear in my practice. Most clients come to me because they want to know something of themselves, their path and journey and do not feel clear yet.

To have clarity you need to cultivate strong and healthy boundaries, you need to define yourself from the world. The world of ethereal energy is alot like Grand Central Station, or listening to 12 radio channels at once and no wonder it is hard to tune out the noise. As a matter of fact everything that is not you on any level is noise and does not belong in your aura. At every interval of all your encounters with people, places, things, etc. is the opportunity to strengthen your boundaries and create definition for yourself within the relationship. You are in relationship to all things, discerning and defining your unique self from all you are in relationship to is rewarding and certainly will enhance your relationship to everything and everyone.

“Know who you are” and “who am I” come out of this need to discern and define the self, it comes out of the need to create boundaries to all of your relations. Your relationships with family, friends, coworkers, groups, humanity, earth, philosophies, communities of information such as statistics and research groups (which may have radically different information than that which matches your truth by the way) is all about coming into yourself and learning who you are within the sea of it all. Knowing who you are is creating clarity. It is a daily spiritual practice, so much so that it is a key component of my Conscious Living Curriculum.

Play with the notion that clarity and boundaries go hand and hand and also that with boundaries there is no need for self defense. As a matter of fact when one has great discernment and boundaries one also feels and knows they are safe. You do not have to fight for boundaries you simply need to place them on the outskirts of your self definition space (your aura). Play with me/not me, mine/not mine as a simple and playful approach to creating definition, try it and see what you notice. Intend to discern your own divine structure within the all and the everything and most importantly make it an enjoyable practice with reward. If you would like more information about how to create boundaries and cultivate clarity consider taking a class or having a reading and remind me of this article, I love to teach about this topic as I feel it is the most important agenda for self fortification out there, and the simplest to employ.
